A new feature was introduced in LobbyGuard Version 4.3. This feature allows users of the Administrative Utility to quickly identify users who have changed information during the sign-in process. These visitor records will appear in Red Text in the Signed In and Signed Out Logs.

Resolution

Log onto the Administrative Utility.

You may see some Visitor Records which appear in red. (See Image 1 below).

This simply means that the visitor changed either their date of birth or name during the sign in process.

This does not indicate that the user has been flagged by either a background check or red flag list.

In the image below, John Doe appears in red. You can view the full visitor record by clicking the View link.

Summary

The LobbyGuard Administrative Utility is web-based software that can be accessed from any PC on the internet. Since it is web-based, it does not require any installation to run – it is accessed via a web browser, just like any other web page. This means you have access to
your visitor records, reports and other information from anywhere in the world. This article will describe the basic features of the Administrative Utility.

Resolution

The Administrative Utility provides the following features:

Visitors – View complete details of visitors to your building, including those who have been flagged by the LobbyGuard Background Check.

Registered Visitors –Use this section to manage those visitors carrying a LobbyGuard Frequent Visitor Keytag.

Scheduled Activities – Schedule upcoming appointments directly with LobbyGuard and send notifications to your scheduled visitors via email. Create “events” to handle large numbers of visitors in a very short period of time.

Time and Attendance – Modify the time a registered visitor has signed in/out in order to generate an accurate time and attendance report.

Rules – Create and control Trigger Event and Action rules for your LobbyGuard station; for example you can create a ‘rule’ that tells LobbyGuard to notify a certain group of individuals when a background failure occurs during sign-in.

Administration – Change workflow settings for various visitor types and other settings for your LobbyGuard station.

Testimonials

The Lobbyguard Kiosk has saved us time while keeping our students safe! It allows us to manage our large list of “red flag” adults from parenting plans and/or restraining orders, keeps track of our volunteers and their hours of service, and the sex offender registry scanning adds a level of security that makes our entire school community feel safer. The Lobbyguard’s amazing features have been able to free up our office staff to do other things, making the customer service to our patrons even better! We’re thrilled with the system and its ability to keep our students and staff safe!”
Greg Brown, Principal, Dick Scobee Elementary School

“LobbyGuard made East Wake High School a safer place for our staff and students and did so in a manner that saved precious man hours.”
